Policy
Terms of Use
These terms describe how SpaceSanifferDo offers this website. They are not a signed contract, and simply opening a page is not presented here as your acceptance of a legal agreement. If you do not want to follow these conditions, do not use the site. Effective October 21, 2026.
Educational purpose
The pages explain Windows disk space, storage pictures, and cleanup choices. The browser tools demonstrate arithmetic and a sample treemap. The material is general education for people using Windows 10 and Windows 11. It is not personalized technical support, legal advice, or a promise that a particular file on your PC is safe to remove.
Independent operation
SpaceSanifferDo operates independently. It is not affiliated with the developer of SpaceSniffer, with Uderzo Software, or with Microsoft. Names of third-party products are used so the guides can talk about real tools. Those names belong to their owners. A mention is not a sponsorship, a certification, or an official support relationship.
No software distribution
The site does not sell software and does not distribute SpaceSniffer or any other disk utility. Buttons and links on these pages lead to explanations and to the browser tools. A text link may point to a developer’s own website. That destination is theirs. SpaceSanifferDo is not a download center and does not mirror installers.
Browser tools
The treemap uses simulated data shipped with the page. The calculator and converter use numbers you enter. You are responsible for the figures you type and for what you do with the result. A calculated remainder is not permission to delete files, and a sample rectangle is not a map of your drive.
Technical instructions and your files
Windows changes its screens between versions. A path that is accurate on the date of a guide can move. Read the labels on your own PC before you remove anything. You are responsible for backups and for every file operation you perform. Deleting system files, uninstalling software, emptying the Recycle Bin, and turning on automatic cleanup can be difficult or impossible to reverse.
The guides tell you to leave unknown Windows system folders alone. If you ignore that caution, the risk is yours. SpaceSanifferDo cannot restore a file from a visitor’s computer.
Acceptable use
Use the site to read and to try the published tools. Do not break the site, probe it for someone else’s data, or present it as an official product website. Do not copy the pages into a download scheme or an advertisement that implies an affiliation the project does not have.
Intellectual property
The text, original diagrams, and sample dataset on this site are part of the SpaceSanifferDo project. You may quote a short passage with a link to the page. You may not republish the guides as your own product documentation or as an official manual for someone else’s software. Third-party names and the treemap concept associated with academic work remain the property of their holders. Product descriptions of SpaceSniffer are paraphrases of publicly described behavior, not a copy of the developer’s manual.
External sites
Links to Microsoft and to uderzo.it leave this website. Their content, availability, and policies are their own. A link is a citation, not an endorsement of every page on that domain.
Disclaimers
The site is provided as educational material. Guides can be incomplete or out of date. Tools can round a number or reject an input they cannot handle safely. SpaceSanifferDo does not warrant that the pages will meet a particular purpose, that a cleanup will free a stated number of gigabytes, or that a third-party program will match this description on every release.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, SpaceSanifferDo is not liable for lost files, lost time, or a damaged Windows installation arising from how you use these explanations. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. Where that is the case, the limitation applies only as far as the law permits. No specific state venue is named here, because this project does not publish a place of business. Applicable United States law still governs questions a court would actually hear.
Changes
When the terms change, this page will carry a new effective date. Continuing to rely on the site after that date means you are looking at the newer text. It still does not turn a casual visit into a signed agreement.
Questions about these terms
